Fatal crash at I-5 road work in Seattle

SEATTLE (AP) — A car crashed into a Transportation Department truck at a construction project on Interstate 5 in Seattle, killing a passenger in the car.

The Washington State Patrol suspects the driver had been drinking.

It happened early Monday, just after midnight, as the driver was exiting I-5 to Interstate 90.

KOMO-TV reports a construction worker had minor injuries.
