GRANITE FALLS, Wash. (AP) — A Granite Falls man says he accidentally shot his girlfriend after sex foreplay with a handgun.
The Snohomish County sheriff’s office says the 25-year-old man was jailed early Sunday for investigation of manslaughter.
The man told deputies said he and his 22-year-old girlfriend had used the gun during foreplay and afterward it went off when he picked it up.
He said both were drunk after a party the night before. Their two young children were asleep in the same bedroom on a different bed.
