A juvenile was transported by helicopter to an area hospital late Sunday morning with serious injuries sustained during a crash at Washougal MX Park, according to East County Fire and Rescue Chief Scott Koehler.
“There were both some visible injuries as well as some mechanism that suggested the child was seriously injured,” Koehler said.
He did not release the juvenile’s name or age, describing him interchangeably as a “juvenile” and a “young child.”
Koehler said firefighters were dispatched to the motocross track at 9:40 a.m. for a report of a juvenile injured in a motorcycle accident.
