CHICAGO (AP) — DePaul forward Mac Koshwal has applied to enter the NBA draft and will not return to school for his senior season.

The school said Tuesday night that Koshwal went through the draft evaluation process after the 2008-09 season and is not eligible to change his mind this year.

The 6-foot-10 Koshwal averaged 12.6 points and 9.3 rebounds in 81 games over his career. Bothered by a foot injury last season, Koshwal averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds in 19 games.

DePaul went 8-23 last season and was 1-17 in the Big East and recently hired Oliver Purnell as its new coach.
