WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) — Purdue forward JaJuan Johnson and guard E’Twaun Moore plan to skip their senior seasons and enter the NBA draft.
The school announced Wednesday that the pair would not hire agents, which means they could withdraw their names from draft consideration by May 8. The players said in a statement that it was possible they could remain with the Boilermakers.
Purdue coach Matt Painter said both players had his support in considering their options.
The 6-foot-10 Johnson averaged 15.5 points and a team-high 7.1 rebounds last season, while Moore led the team in scoring at 16.4 points. The Boilermakers finished 29-6 and shared the Big Ten regular-season title.
