TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The Tulsa Shock have acquired 3-point specialist Shanna Crossley from the San Antonio Silver Stars in exchange for reserve forward Crystal Kelly in coach Nolan Richardson’s latest tinkering with the relocated franchise’s roster.
The 5-foot-10 Crossley averaged 5.0 points points in 19 games last season and ranked fifth in the WNBA in 3-point shooting at 44.4 percent. She averaged 7.3 points and 40.2 percent on 3s in 87 career games with San Antonio.
Crossley is the seventh new player to join the Shock’s roster since the team moved from Detroit in the offseason and Richardson was named coach and general manager.
The 6-2 Kelly averaged 3.8 points in 34 games last season with Sacramento and Detroit.
