Stars of the Day
• Elle Wade, Washougal track and field, was named outstanding athlete of the Gorge Invitational as Washougal won the team title. Wade won the 200 meters, 400, triple jump and was third in the 100.
• Austin McCrum, Stevenson track and field, was named outstanding athlete of the Gorge Invitational after wins in the high jump, triple jump and pole vault.
• Prairie girls track and field team, won the Aloha Relays by two points over Sheldon of Eugene and 5½ points over Heritage. Prairie claimed victories in the 3,200 relay and distance medley events.
• Jon Lawson, Prairie track and field, set meet records at the Aloha Relays in the shot put (58 feet, 4½ inches) and discus (172-1).
