COQUILLE, Ore. (AP) — The founder of a respected youth music program in the Coos Bay area will be serving a year and a half in prison for embezzling $86,000.

Greg Young told the judge in Coos County Circuit Court on Monday that he accepts full responsibility for the crime, and never meant to hurt the kids in the Oregon Coast Lab Band.

Young and his wife, Patricia, had pleaded guilty last week.
