SEATTLE (AP) — A Burlington Northern Santa Fe spokesman says two Amtrak trains and five Sounder commuter trains were delayed Tuesday evening after two suspicious packages were seen near the track south of Seattle’s Boeing Field.

Spokesman Gus Melonas says railroad security officers investigated and determined the items posed no threat. The two tracks of the railroad’s main line were shut down as a precaution at about 5 p.m. and were reopened about an hour and 15 minutes later.
