SEATTLE (AP) — Police arrested a man suspected of beating a transient who was sleeping outside a business in downtown Seattle.
When officers arrived just before 11 p.m. Tuesday they saw a man standing over the victim. The 22-year-old man was caught after a brief chase and jailed for investigation of assault.
The 53-year-old victim says he was asleep under a blanket when he was attacked. He declined medical attention.
