SEATTLE (AP) — The Seattle Fire Department has rescued two window-washers whose platform stuck at an angle during the noon hour Wednesday outside the 35th floor of the downtown Sheraton hotel.

Firefighters in climbing gear came down from the roof and rescued them one at a time.

Spokeswoman Dana Vander Houwen (HOW’-en) says the platform rigging had snagged. The window washers were not injured.
