ELKO, Nev. (AP) — A man and woman who own a Nevada brothel and massage parlors in Washington have been indicted on charges of prostitution and money laundering conspiracy.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency says the 48-year-old woman, Tham Nguyen, and 51-year-old man, Suong Tran, of Burien, Wash., were arrested Thursday after being indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury.

Court documents allege the defendants owned and operated a brothel in Elko, and three massage parlors in both Washington and California.

Authorities allege the businesses were a front for prostitution and the defendants moved women among their businesses and conspired to hide the illegal proceeds.
