GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Green Bay Packers have taken Purdue defensive lineman Mike Neal with their second-round pick in the NFL draft Friday.
The Packers used the No. 56 overall pick on Neal, who started 23 of 24 games in his final two seasons for the Boilermakers. Neal had 512 sacks and 1112 tackles for loss as a senior.
The Packers addressed their biggest need in Thursday’s first round, taking Iowa offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga. They still could use depth at cornerback.
