PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police are blaming anarchists for vandalism at a northeast Portland Starbucks and U.S. military recruiting station.

The Portland Police Bureau says roughly 50 marchers dressed in black took to the streets late Monday.

The group threw rocks at the Starbucks, damaging two windows. At the recruiting station, they shattered the glass door and destroyed a large bench.

Detective Mary Wheat says the anarchists also rolled trash bins into the street in an effort to stop traffic.

No arrests have been made.
