MILAN (AP) — AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi says coach Leonardo is leaving the club at the end of the season.

The Italian prime minister told Thursday’s Corriere dello Sport that, “Yes, he is going.”

“Leo was too stubborn and the team played badly. However, he is a good person and a good coach,” Berlusconi said.

AC Milan was knocked out by Manchester United in the second round of the Champions League and is third in Serie A with three games left, nine points behind first-place Inter Milan.
