At least 2 drown in Columbia River near Wishram

THE DALLES, Ore. (AP) — At least two people have drowned and a third person is missing in a fishing boat accident on the Columbia River near Wishram, Wash.

The Wasco County sheriff’s office in The Dalles says a fourth person was recovered from the water Friday with hypothermia.

The sheriff’s office says the occupants of the 18-foot boat were thrown into the water when the boat swamped in 30 miles per hour winds and high swells.
