RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Jeff Gordon says a conference call moderated by boss Rick Hendrick has smoothed out any potential feud with teammate Jimmie Johnson.

Gordon uncharacteristically expressed anger in Johnson after on-track incidents the past two races. They raced each other hard two weeks ago at Texas, and a Johnson error late in last week’s race at Talladega contributed to Gordon wrecking.

Hendrick got the four-time champions on the phone this week to air their grievances. He says he and Johnson agreed to move on.

Gordon also says he doesn’t regret saying on national TV last week that Johnson was testing his patience.
