MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — A 25-year-old Medford man is under arrest in connection with shooting outside a local restaurant.

Raymond Ranal Williams was arrested Saturday on two counts of attempted murder, attempted assault and unlawful use of a weapon. Authorities say Williams also had an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court on a theft charge.

Police say an argument broke out early Friday morning outside a Muchas Gracias restaurant.

Lt. Bob Hansen says witnesses reported a Hispanic man got a gun out of a white sedan’s trunk and fired at least three shots. The shots struck the side of the building.

The shooter got into the car and left with three others. Williams was arrested after the occupants of the car were interviewed.

Bail is set at more than $2 million.
