BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) — The Kitsap County coroner’s office says dental records have confirmed that the remains found in a ravine near Illahee State Park are those of a Bremerton woman who disappeared May 13.

Coroner Greg Sandstrom confirms the remains are those of 19-year-old Kara Lynn Radabah. Forensic anthropologist Dr. Kathy Taylor will try to determine how the young woman died.

Sheriff’s Deputy Scott Wilson says no crime is suspected. Radabah had been diagnosed with a delusional mental illness.

The remains were found Sunday by members of German Shepherd Search Dogs of Washington from Pierce County.

Her family says Radabah did volunteer work with Special Olympics and disabled children.
