EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — An Everett man has been jailed for investigation of murder in the death of a man whose body was found at a house near Ebey Slough.

The Snohomish County sheriff’s office says the 42-year-old is the only suspect and there is no threat to the public.

Deputies went to the home early Monday after a call from Everett police who learned about the killing while responding to a disturbance at a house in the city. A caller said people were talking about having hurt or killed someone.

The investigation led to the home near Ebey Slough where the man’s body was found outside amid signs of a struggle.
