SAN DIEGO (AP) — Nate Kaeding knows he has no choice but to move forward.

The All-Pro kicker had a long offseason after missing three field goal attempts in the San Diego Chargers’ embarrassing 17-14 playoff loss to the New York Jets.

They were hardly the only pratfalls that day for the one-and-done Chargers. Still, they were shocking because Kaeding is the NFL’s most accurate kicker of all time.

Kaeding takes responsibility for the missed field goals and hopes to learn from them.

His teammates and coach are confident he can bounce back. Kaeding says he’s not even thinking about the regular-season opener on Sept. 13 at Kansas City. He simply wants to use training camp to get better.
