WASHOUGAL — A nighttime guided nature walk will be held Monday at the Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge at the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge.

The guided hike, from 8 p.m. until about 10 p.m., will reveal how the trail transforms as darkness falls. For example, bats are a beneficial presence on the trail after dark.

Registration is required and space is limited. Bring mosquito repellent and wear appropriate clothing.

To sign up, contact Julia Davidson at 360-887-4106 or Julia_Davidson@fws.gov.
