TEGUCIGAPLA, Honduras (AP) — Chad Barrett scored a 79th-minute goal to give MLS club Toronto FC a 2-2 draw against Honduran club Motagua on Tuesday and a place in the group stage of the CONCACAF Champions League.

Barrett put a deflected shot behind goalkeeper Donaldo Morales for the equalizer.

The Canadians advanced from the qualifying stage 3-2 on aggregate after a 1-0 victory in the first leg. They will play in Group A with the MLS’ Real Salt Lake, Mexico’s Cruz Azul and Panama’s Arabe Unido

Amado Guevara scored twice for Motagua — in the sixth and 64th. His second goal gave the Hondurans a 2-1 lead minutes after Dwayne DeRosario scored for Toronto.
