Small quake reported near Tacoma

SEATTLE (AP) — The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network reports a small quake Thursday morning near Tacoma.

The quake at 4:55 a.m. had a magnitude of 2.8 and was located near Algona, about nine miles northeast of Tacoma.

Quakes of that size rarely cause damage and may not be felt.
