Jockey injured by horse at Saratoga

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) — Jockey Jermaine Bridgmohan was taken to a medical center for treatment after being kicked in the stomach area by his mount in the saddling paddock before the third race at Saratoga Race Course.

The 22-year-old Bridgmohan was conscious when treated at the scene Saturday by New York Racing Association medical personnel. Cincinnati Kid, the horse he was to ride, was scratched.
