BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (AP) — Thierry Henry had two shots saved by Chicago goalkeeper Sean Johnson, and Freddie Ljungberg missed a chance to score in his home debut Sunday night as the Fire and New York Red Bulls finished in a 0-0 tie.

The game was one of the most hyped of the Major League Soccer season, with former Barcelona star Rafael Marquez making his debut in a Red Bulls uniform, El Tri teammate Nery Castillo making his first appearance for the Fire and Ljungberg playing his first game in Chicago. But it was Johnson who had the big night with seven saves, including one on a close-range header from Juan Pablo Angel in the first minute of stoppage time that preserved the tie.

Henry, playing only his second MLS game after leaving Barcelona, left the game in the 45th minute with a strained groin.
