EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — The now-16-year-old girl whose beating in Seattle’s bus tunnel was widely seen on video has been convicted of second-degree robbery in a separate case.

On Tuesday, Snohomish County Juvenile Court Judge George Bowden found Aiesha Steward-Baker guilty of robbing a 50-year-old woman last year in the city of Edmonds, north of Seattle. Prosecutors say Steward-Baker and a friend attacked the woman and stole her purse as she walked home from a pub in May 2009. The other girl pleaded guilty.

Prosecutors plan to ask for a sentence of 15-36 weeks in detention.

In January, Steward-Baker was attacked by several people in the Seattle bus tunnel as security guards watched.
