Dream beats Sky to clinch playoff berth

ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) — Erika DeSouza scored 17 points and the Atlanta Dream beat the Chicago Sky 98-74 on Saturday night to clinch a WNBA playoff berth.

Iziane Castro Marques had 15 points for the Dream (19-13), who also snapped a four-game losing streak.

Atlanta outscored the Sky 31-11 in the second quarter to open a commanding 57-32 halftime lead. It led by as many as 35 points in the second half.

Epiphanny Prince scored 18 points for Chicago (13-18). Sylvia Fowles added 14, passing 1,000 points for her career.

Angel McCoughtry scored 13 for Atlanta. Alison Bales and Armintie Price each had 10.
