SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Spokane City Hall is temporarily shut down after an unidentified white powdery substance was discovered by an employee.

People who had contact with the powder have been segregated, and the rest of the employees in the building are being asked to remain on their own floors.

Members of the public are not being allowed in the building Monday afternoon as authorities try to identify the powder.
