GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Will Blackmon can return punts and kickoffs, and coaches believe he’s versatile enough to play just about anywhere in the secondary — all things the Green Bay Packers could use right now.
Now Blackmon has to show he can stay healthy.
Blackmon is less than 10 months removed from surgery on his left knee and has been a sporadic participant in Packers camp so far. But Blackmon was practicing Tuesday after an extended absence, and insists he will be ready for the Packers’ Sept. 12 opener at Philadelphia.
