OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) — A 51-year-old Oregon City massage therapist has pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree sexual abuse. Rick McDaniel was sentenced Tuesday in Clackamas County Circuit Court to more than four years in prison. He must register as a sex offender and pay restitution to several victims.

McDaniel was arrested in March after one of his victims taped a conversation in which he admitted sexual contact and blamed his behavior on a sexual addiction. He was indicted on 17 counts of sex abuse in incidents involving 13 women.

The Oregonian says all but two counts were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

Prosecutor Bill Golden says McDaniel targeted vulnerable women and gained their trust.
