ATLANTA (AP) — Braves left-hander Eric O’Flaherty is ready to return from mononucleosis.

Manager Bobby Cox says O’Flaherty will come off the 15-day disabled list following Thursday’s game against Washington. Rookie left-hander Mike Dunn will be optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett.

O’Flaherty is 3-1 with a 2.30 ERA in 41 games. He will join rookie Jonny Venters and closer Billy Wagner as left-handers in the bullpen.

O’Flaherty has missed 34 games since he was placed on the disabled list July 10.

Dunn is 1-0 in 10 games since he was recalled from Gwinnett. He has not allowed a run in 7 2-3 innings entering Thursday’s game against the Nationals.
