LAKE STEVENS, Wash. (AP) — A Thursday evening collision between a ski boat and a crew-type rowing shell on Lake Stevens has left a 41-year-old man missing.

Lake Stevens Police Chief Randy Celori says boats and dive teams have searched the lake. The man was last seen in the water about 7:45 p.m.

Celori says the ski boat appears to have struck the row boat near the boat launch on the east side of the lake.

Lake Stevens Fire Department Battalion Chief Perry Putnam says the two people in the rowing shell were tossed into the lake. A woman was pulled out and did not require medical treatment; the man is missing.

Three teens on the ski boat are uninjured.

Lake Stevens is east of Everett.
