PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Homicide detectives are interviewing persons-of-interest Saturday after a man was found dead in a northeast Portland home.

The Portland Police Bureau says officers responded at 6:45 a.m. to a report that someone had been shot. Once inside the home, officers found the body of a man in his 30s.

The bureau says detectives are conducting interviews and no suspects are sought.

The city has seen a spike in gang-related violence this week, but police say this shooting is not tied to gangs.

The victim’s name is being withheld until his relatives are notified and the medical examiner performs an autopsy.
