EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — A 22-year-old man suspected in the shooting death of a reputed heroin dealer has turned himself in to authorities.

Police Sgt. Robert Goetz says Eric Lee Lowe of Marysville is under arrest in the Snohomish County Jail after he surrendered Saturday while accompanied by his attorney.

Police say Alonzo Lopez-Gonzales was shot to death at his Everett apartment by two intruders. They say two men went to the apartment last Friday, accused the dealer of selling “bad dope” and demanding their money back. After the man opened the safe he was dragged to the second-floor balcony where he was either pushed or jumped. He was shot in the back when he was on the ground.

Detectives are still seeking 25-year-old Jeffrey Scott Cleator Jr. as a person of interest in this case.
