SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Spokane firefighters say an overnight house fire was likely arson because it apparently started in a closet of the vacant home.

KHQ-TV reports a neighbor who smelled smoke just before midnight Sunday looked out her window to see two people running away.

Firefighters kept the flames from spreading beyond a front bedroom.
