ASHLAND, Ore. (AP) — An Ashland, Ore., official says a fire has destroyed 11 homes and damaged two more. Fire Marshal Margueritte Hickman says no injuries have been reported in Tuesday’s fire in the Oak Knoll neighborhood of the southern Oregon town.

Residents of four streets in the area have been evacuated and a shelter is being set up.

Another fire reported Tuesday on the other side of Interstate 5 from Oak Knoll burned a barn and a trailer. Hickman says the trailer was believed to be vacant.
