RENTON, Wash. (AP) — Coach Pete Carroll says he is preparing to have quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and fellow Seahawks starters play three quarters in Saturday’s exhibition against Minnesota’s formidable pass rush — despite injuries that have ransacked the left side of Seattle’s offensive line.
Carroll said after Thursday’s practice he will not curtail the 34-year-old Hasselbeck’s playing time in the name of preservation.
