Colorado runs past Texas-Pan American 83-64

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — Levi Knutson had a season-high 18 points, Marcus Relphorde scored 16 and Colorado beat Texas-Pan American 83-64 Tuesday night.

Cory Higgins scored 15 points and Alec Burks had 12 for the Buffaloes (3-3).

Perry Petty led the Broncs (2-6) with 23 points and Brandon Provost added 15.

Colorado led 34-19 at halftime then scored the first nine points of the second half for a 24 point lead.

Two 3-pointers from Aaron Urbanus and five points from Petty got Texas-Pan American to within 54-39 with 12:55 remaining, but the Buffaloes responded with a 9-3 run to push the lead back above 20.

Andre Roberson’s alley-oop dunk gave Colorado a 77-55 lead with 3:31 left.
