SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — A Geiger Correction Center work crew was clearing snow from a Spokane Transit bus stop Wednesday when one inmate took off.

KREM reports the corrections deputy overseeing the work crew found a vest and cap belonging to 37-year-old Jason Breedlove. Police set up a containment area, but he escaped.

Breedlove was being held on a warrant related to a drunken driving conviction and is not considered a danger to the public.
