NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Kerry Collins has returned to practice with the Tennessee Titans for the first time since straining his left calf Nov. 14, and the veteran quarterback has a chance to start Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Collins was limited as the Titans worked Wednesday indoors in a practice that mostly was a walkthrough.
Coach Jeff Fisher says Collins is better but still day-to-day. Collins threw during a seven-on-seven period and took part in the walkthrough. Fisher says they’ll see how the 16-year veteran is Thursday.
Seven Titans did not practice, but receiver Kenny Britt also returned to practice in a limited fashion. This was his first practice since straining his right hamstring Oct. 31 in a loss at San Diego.
