PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Layoffs announced by three unrelated Oregon employers will hit more than 200 workers.
Real estate agents, biotech workers and manufactured home fabricators are affected by Thursday’s announcements.
Goshen, Ind.-based Liberty Homes says it plans to permanently close its manufactured housing plant in Sheridan, affecting 83 workers. Layoffs are expected to begin by February.
California-based ZipRealty says it will no longer maintain an employee work force in Oregon, resulting in layoffs of 51 sales agents on Jan. 31.
