North Dakota State beats South Dakota State 82-75

BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) — TrayVonn Wright led five North Dakota State players in double figures with 15 points as the Bison (5-3) defeated South Dakota State 82-75 Saturday night in the Summit League opener for both teams.

Eric Carlson scored 14 points, Michael Tveidt added 13, Nate Zastrow had 12 and Marshall Bjorklund 11 for the Bison.

The loss, the first of the season for South Dakota State (6-1), spoiled a 36-point effort by guard Nate Wolters, who made 12 of 25 shots and pulled down six rebounds. He also had six assists and three steals.
