Howard fires coach Bailey after 1-10 season

WASHINGTON (AP) — Carey Bailey has been fired as football coach at Howard.

Bailey went 8-36 over four seasons with the Bison, with just four wins over the last three years.

The Bison went 1-10 this season.

Howard was Bailey’s first head coaching job. He had previously been the defensive line coach at Minnesota.
