SPRINGFIELD, Ore. (AP) — The Springfield City Council voted Monday to select Councilor Christine Lundberg to replace Mayor Sid Leiken. He resigned last week after being elected to the Lane County Board of Commissioners.
The Register-Guard reports the 58-year-old Lundberg is a lifelong Springfield resident who has served on the council since 1999.
