MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — A federal grand jury has indicted members of an alleged southern Oregon crime family on drug and weapons charges.

The Mail Tribune reports that Victor Valencia, 26, Alex Valencia, 25, Tina Ann Marie Brown, 25, and Rocky Allen Bass, 46, are all charged with conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Bass is also charged with attempting to purchase two AK-47 assault rifles for Victor Valencia and possession of eight illegal firearms.

Medford police say the Valencias have ties to a street gang formed in Northern California called the Nortenos.
