Correction: Hewlett-Packard location; Fargher Lake

Hewlett-Packard location incorrect: Hewlett-Packard initially leased a building on Northeast 65th Avenue in 1979 as a temporary manufacturing site and moved to its present location at 18110 S.E. 34th St. in 1981. In the 1990s, HP leased a portion of the building at 1115 S.E. 164th Ave., now occupied by Nautilus, as its north campus. A story on Page E1 of Thursday’s Business section contained incorrect information about Hewlett-Packard’s business locations in Clark County.

No caldera: The area of Fargher Lake in northern Clark County is not a caldera, as incorrectly asserted in a story Thursday on Page C1. Carolyn Driedger, with the U.S. Geological Survey in Vancouver, said ponding in the area historically occurred due to the existence of a series of three ancient moraines to the west. Moraines are essentially large piles of rubble deposited by glaciers.
