Seton Hall routs Massachusetts 104-79

AMHERST, Mass. (AP) — Jordan Theodore scored 17 points, dished out eight assists and Seton Hall had six other players score in double figures in a 104-79 rout of Massachusetts on Saturday night.

Herb Pope finished with 11 points, 13 rebounds and blocked five shots for the Pirates (4-4), who shot 60 percent from the floor (36 of 60) and knocked down 11 3-pointers for the game.

Ferrakohn Hall scored 15 points, Fuquan Edwin and Jeff Robinson each had 13, and Patrik Auda added 10 for Seton Hall.

The Pirates used a 15-4 run over a four-minute span in the second half to turn a six-point lead into a 17-point advantage with 12:05 left. Auda scored eight points during the spurt, which included a pair of 3-point plays.

Seton Hall took a 104-77 lead — its largest of the game — on Edwin’s 3-pointer with 1:36 left.

Anthony Gurley scored 26 points for the Minutemen (7-3).
