LACEY, Wash. (AP) — A speeding car reportedly crashed into a mobile home in Lacey early Tuesday, killing a 16-year-old boy who was sleeping inside.
KIRO-TV reports the driver and another man fled the scene and police dogs couldn’t track them.
KING-TV reports police have identified a suspect.
A neighbor told KOMO Radio that power was out at the time of the crash at 12:30 and the driver may have not seen the street end at the mobile home park.
The SUV smashed into the mobile home, killing the teen. Two other people in the home were not hurt.
