PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) — Pakistani officials say the death toll in two U.S. missile strikes along the Afghan border has risen to 15.

The attacks Friday struck two villages in the Khyber tribal region, an area in northwest Pakistan that has seen few such strikes in the past.

The two Pakistani officials who confirmed the death toll spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue.
